On reaching the seabed at 15m you are immediately mobbed by many thousands of saddled sea bream. When feeding these fish the diver is temporarily lost from view and all divers seem to enjoy the spectacle. Then divers head towards the cave entrance. This is only 10m deep at the entrance and immediately begins to get progressively shallower. At first the cave appears as though it will end abruptly but, just as it turns to the right the exit comes into view. The diver enters a much larger cavern with a magnificent exit to the open sea. Taking this route the divers emerge above a very beautiful reef alive with tube worms, sea bream, wrasse and many other species.Within the cave depths vary from 10m to 15m but most of the journey is in much shallower water. This site therefore offers countless opportunities for photography as well as safe yet adventurous cave diving. In addition the vast number of seemingly tame fish has made this site a firm favourite with all divers.
